ABOUT

ABOUT FOUNDATION

Because we’ve been there, a foundation that truly understands...

The Sean Hanna Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of Sean Hanna, a brave and compassionate young man whose battle with cancer touched everyone around him. Inspired by his strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit, Sean’s family and close friends came together to form this 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with one mission: to bring hope, healing, and help to children fighting pediatric cancer and the families who stand beside them.

Our work is deeply personal. As a family directly affected by pediatric cancer, we understand the emotional, physical, and financial toll it can take. This lived experience drives our approach—we listen closely, act compassionately, and respond to each family's unique situation with flexibility and care. Whether it’s guiding parents through the overwhelming medical landscape, funding cutting-edge research to improve treatment outcomes, or simply being a steady source of support during the darkest days, we are here every step of the way.

At the heart of everything we do is Sean’s memory and the belief that no child or family should face cancer alone. Through innovation, empathy, and community, we’re transforming one family’s journey into a legacy of hope for many.

Sean Hanna - he didn’t let cancer write his story; he lived with purpose, joy, and unshakable spirit.

ABOUT SEAN HANNA

In loving memory of Sean Hanna, a brave and inspiring young man by Linda Hanna...

This is the story of my son, Sean Hanna — a brave and extraordinary young man who faced cancer with remarkable courage and an unbreakable spirit.

Though his journey was filled with challenges, Sean chose to live each day with joy, hope, and a fierce determination to make the most of every moment. Through these words, I want to share not only Sean’s battle but also the light he brought into our lives and the legacy of love and strength he left behind.

His story is one of resilience, family, and the power of never giving up — a story that continues to inspire all who knew him and those who now walk a similar path.
